  • I am not a doctor or psychologist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California. My clients usually refer to me by my first name, Veronica or Vero.

  • I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, Carleon, Optum. If I am not in network with your insurance I also accept debit/credit card payments, and I work with California Victims Compensation CalVCB. You may check with your insurance provider for any possible reimbursement. I can provide you with an itemized bill often referred to as a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. The itemized bill is not a guarantee of reimbursement by your insurance and it will be your responsibility to check directly with the insurance company regarding requirements for possible reimbursement. Payment for services will be required at the time of the services.

  • My standard fee is $175 per 50-minute session and $225 per 90-minute session.

    We have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use the tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.

  • At this time, I am not providing in-person appointments, but provide the convenience of telehealth/online video sessions anywhere in the state of California.

  • If you need to cancel an appointment, I ask that you please provide me with a 24-hour notice prior to the scheduled appointment. Any appointment that is not canceled with 24-hour notice will be charged at the full rate of $175 (with the exception of emergency situations or circumstances out of your control).

  • Yes. Although my specialty is in trauma work, I have had experience in working with other issues including but not limited to anxiety and depression. For more information, check out my services page.  

  • Yes. Sendero Therapy & Consultation Services welcomes everyone regardless of race, culture, or gender identities.
